MOBILE
TECHNOLOGIES
We
make our diagnostic testing available to other optometrists
and ophthalmologists through our Mobile Technologies division.
Our services are available to offices who may not be able
to justify the investment in specialized equipment, but
whose patients require modern diagnostics at convenient
locations. We deliver all equipment and a technician to
your office to minimize disruption. We can schedule our
appointments as much as a year in advance in order for
doctors to recall patients specifically to have testing
done. We provide advice in matters of insurance claims
processing and can assist in development of customized
interpretation forms.
Zeiss
Cirrus HD-OCT™
Images
acquired by the Zeiss Cirrus HD-OCT™ precisely measure
retinal conditions including glaucoma, age related macular
degeneration, macular edema, serous retinopathy, and macular
holes. Featuring spectral domain technology, it delivers
exquisite high-definition images of ocular structures
and detailed analysis tools. Your patients will appreciate
the precise and fast scans of this machine. These records
can be printed and/or saved to digital medium.
Zeiss
FDT-700™ Visual Field Perimeter
Visual
field loss can indicate the presence or progression of
many ocular conditions, so we offer a Carl Zeiss Meditec™
FDT-710 for fast assessment. Testing in seconds makes
this machine ideal for quickly screening deviations in
visual field perception. Clinically validated by numerous
studies documenting its diagnostic performance, this machine
is used for monitoring patients with glaucoma, macular
degeneration, and other conditions which constrict the
visual field. These records are printed at the time of
service for the office to retain.
Nidek
NM-200D Fundus Camera
We
offer a Nidek NMD-200 non-mydriatic fundus camera for
imaging both external and retinal conditions. Mega pixel
fundus images combined with the flexibility to accommodate
patients who cannot fit into the traditional tabletop
fundus camera make this technology perfect for our patients.
We are able to photograph external anatomy such as eyelids,
irises, and sclera in addition to fundus images of the
optic nerve head or of a specific pathology. These records
can be printed and/or saved to digital medium.
